Toyota Malaysia revealed the first image of the next generation 2009 Toyota Hilux and the complete specifications of the new model.
The 2009 Toyota Hilux will come in four trim levels: Single Cab, Double Cab STD M/T, Double Cab M/T and Double Cab A/T. The 2009 Toyota Hilux will be powered by a 2.5 liter common rail direct injection diesel engine developing 102 PS at 3,600 rpm and 260 Nm of torque between 1,600 and 2,400 rpm. The engine of the 2009 Toyota Hilux will be coupled with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed Automatic with ECT transmission.
The suspension of the 2009 Toyota Hilux features independent double wishbone with coil spring and stabilizer for the front and leaf spring with rigid axle for the rear.
