One of today's rumor says that the Japanese carmaker will present the Toyota iQ Cabrio in a concept form at the next Tokyo Auto Show. To make the Toyota iQ Cabrio the Japanese will remove the roof of the current model, idea inspired by the smart ForTwo. The small European two-seater is considered to be the main rival of the new Toyota iQ.
The Toyota iQ Cabrio, which is rumored to make its first public appearance in Tokyo in October, is set to go into production sometime next year.
The design of the new Toyota iQ Cabrio will be inspired by the new Scion iQ which received a positive feedback from the audience.
As far as the engine line-up goes, the Toyota iQ Cabrio will offer the same options as the current version.
