The Italian tuners from UK Garage have launched their latest upgrade package for the Lotus Exige Mk1, called the Extrema. The UK Garage Lotus Extrema offers a choice between a list of engines: a Chevrolet V8 with 420 hp or 500 hp, a Corvette ZO6 V8 LS7 engine with 650 hp or a 2.8-liter turbo V6 GM engine with an output of 300 or 350 hp. The entry level UK Garage Lotus Extrema is powered by a 2.6 liter PowerTech V8 engine developing 360 hp.
Powered by the Corvette powerplant, which weighs around 1000kg, the UK Garage Lotus Extrema is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and to 200 km/h in 7 seconds. The top speed of the UK Garage Lotus Extrema is 320 km/h.
The UK Garage Lotus Extrema comes with a wide body kit, a wider track to allow the uses of larger tires, a fully adjustable Koni suspension and AP Racing brake calipers.
The UK Garage Lotus Extrema price starts at 66,000 Euros.
