Vath launched at the end of last week a new power kit for the mighty Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe Black Series. Vath left the exterior and interior design of the C63 AMG Coupe Black untouched. However, they focused all their attention on its 6.2-liter V8 engine. The factory C63 Coupe Black is good for a very impressive 380 kW (517 hp) and 620 Nm of torque. It seems that the aftermarket specialists from Vath are not so impressed with this. They modified the C63 Coupe Black's powerplant to develop 556 kW (756 hp) and 800 Nm of torque. This is enough to stop a tsunami! The Vath Mercedes C63 AMG Black is able to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 350 km/h. In comparison, a Ferrari 458 Italia needs 3.4 seconds for the 0-62 mph sprint, but it can reach a top speed of "just" 325 km/h. The price of this power kit is set at 38,500 Euros.

To get so much extra performance out of the C63 AMG's engine, Vath installed an M156 stainless steel exhaust-manifold (2,890 €), a stainless steel catalyst (1,890 €) and a new rear silencer (3,540 €). The Vath Mercedes C63 AMG Black is also equipped with adjustable shock absorbers, a 20 – 65 mm lowered ride height, 405 mm front brake discs, and 20-inch alloys with new tires. At the interior, the Vath' C63 Coupe Black features a steering wheel and a 400 km/h speedometer.
