It's not everyday that you get the chance of riding in one of the world's most extreme production car, the Caparo T1. The experience however, can be taken into the stratosphere if the person at the wheel is none other than two-time Formula One World Champion Mika Hakkinen. One of the journalists from the British magazine EVO had the chance of experiencing exactly this. He was taken for a 'stroll in the park' in the Caparo T1 by racing legend Mika Hakkinen.
The Caparo T1 is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 engine developing 575bhp at 10,500 rpm and 420Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. To get a sense of just how extreme this machine is, we'll just tell you it has a power-to-weight ratio of 1,045 bhp-per-ton.
Caparo says that their T1 V8 is able to offer almost the same experience as an F1 race car.
