Ruf Automobile and Siemens Corporate Technology revealed at this year's Geneva show the eRuf Greenster Porsche electric car. The power train of the eRuf Greenster Porsche has been developed by Siemens as a preliminary concept for the eDrive technology. The eRuf Greenster Porsche is powered by a center mounted electric motor that outputs 270 kW and an amazing 950 Nm of torque. Ruf says the following version of the eRuf Greenster Porsche will be produced as a limited series with as a double-motor concept featuring the integral eDrive technology.
The eRuf Greenster Porsche can be recharged in under an hour from a 400-volt power outlet and can also be used to feed electricity back into the power network.
A small number of the production version of the eRuf Greenster Porsche is expected to hit the streets next year. No pricing information has been released yet.
