The iconic North American pickup truck, the 2013 Ford F150, gets yet another review. In case you didn't know, the Ford F150 is the bestselling vehicle in the United States. The new generation Ford F150 (2013) comes with an updated exterior and interior design, and a more efficient 6.2-liter V8 engine. Apart from eh V8, you can get your 2013 F150 with either a 3.7-liter V6, a 5.0-liter V8 or a 3.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine. At the interior, the F150 (2013) being tested is fitted with a leather upholstery and a few other high-end trim parts. Apparently, the 2013 Ford F150 offers plenty of room for both the front and rear passengers. Taking into account the "pickup" side of the F150's character, we have to tell you that it can carry up to 700 kg of luggage. The 4x4 transmission of the 2013 F150 offers four settings, including low ratio one for serious off-rad duty.
Ford's 2013 F150 continues to have a crude rear suspension, which doesn't make it pretty agile at taking corners. The steering is not precise, and the 3.5-liter engine of the version being tested seems to be rather small for the size of the truck. However, this engine offers a very low fuel consumption in comparison to the other powertrain options offered by Ford for the 2013 F150.
