| British engineering meets American muscle with the new powerkit for the Jaguar F-Type R from Hennessey Performance. Hennessey "tunes" the 5.0-liter V8 Jaguar engine from 550 hp and 680 Nm up to 623 bhp at 6,200 rpm and 568 lb-ft torque at 4,300 rpm. The result is a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of "who cares anymore?". Hennessey's F-Type Jag manages to run the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds at 126 mph. If you take a close look at the specs, you'll notice they didn't even have to do a lot of work. They just upgraded the ECU, the supercharger, and the intercooler. Just imagine what's going to happen when they're going to really put their muscle into it. | |||||||
