Here comes the first review of the McLaren 12C Spider. Even though McLaren removed the roof of the MP4-12C to get the 12C Spider, they managed to keep its torsional rigidity and they made it only 40 kg heavier. The 616 bhp of the McLaren 12C Spider come from a 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine that's able to accelerate it from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.1 seconds. This means that the Spider version of the MP4-12C is just 0.1 seconds slower to 62 mph than the coupe. To get your hairdo done in your very own 12C Spider you'll need to spend at least 195,500 GBP.
