The WRC (World Rally Championship) hasn't been in the spotlight for quite some time. Not that it's not as spectacular as Formula 1, but it's a lot more complicated to cover. Broadcasting a closed circuit event is one thing. Broadcasting an event that takes place in some of the most difficult, logistically speaking, places on earth is another. But that's about to change.
It appears drones have a lot more uses than...we've expected.
RANT ON:
Talking about Formula 1. We're not really sure about you, but to us it looks like a bad relationship between a video game and "The Young And The Restless".
Video game?
Senna had just two buttons on his steering wheel... Boost and Radio. What more do you need? Frankly, I would keep all the safety measures in place right now, add a few more... and bring back the turbo and the manual gearbox.
What's up will all the drama?
You get it by yourself... we're not going to mention it here... but still... On any given Sunday...these guys are putting their lives on the line. You've turned real drivers, into pilots, on top-of-the-line four-wheel jetfighters nevertheless... but still...pilots.
To get a picture, this is what happens when two other champions step into a serious F1 car ...
On the other hand...rally driving... It's just you, your machine and your co-"pilot". It's the freedom to improvise. It's the freedom to joke. It's the freedom to take chances. It's the freedom to go for it! It's the freedom to drive!
It's freedom.
At one point the car actually becomes an extension of yourself.... Although it's just a movie, this feeling is real... and that place of "being completely at peace", does exist.
