Here's a time-lapse of driving through the world's longest tunnel, which measures no less than 15.3 miles (24.5 km). The tunnel was completed in 2000 and it's located in Norway, between Laerdal and Aurland. The 2:31 clip presents a trip which usually takes around 20 minutes. One of the biggest challenges its developers had was to find a way to keep drivers from falling asleep. The solution was to divide the tunnel in four sections, each having different lighting characteristics.
