After finishing third in last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel has become the 2011 F1 World Champion, for the second time in a row. The 24-year-old becomes the youngest Formula 1 driver to ever win the world Championship back-to-back, taking the record from Michael Schumacher. Schumi was in fact the first person to congratulate Vettel for his achievement, even before he completed his victory lap. The final standings for this year's Japanese Grand Prix are Jensen Button - 1st place, Fernando Alonso - 2nd place and Sebastian Vettel - 3rd place.

Sebastian Vettel entered the Formula 1 series as a reserve driver for BMW's team. Jens Marquardt, BMW Motorsport Director, congratulated the young driver, alongside Renault - the manufacturer who supplied the engine for his Red Bull race car.

In the 2012 Formula 1 season, Sebastian Vettel will most probably continue to race for the Red Bull team, which proved to be very successful in the recent years.
