Marussia Virgin Racing have revealed over the last weekend their new MVR-02 F1 car with which they'll race in the 2011 FIA Formula 1 World championship. The Marussia Virgin 2011 F1 car is built on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, with a carbon and titanium suspension system and Penske dampers. The Marussia Virgin 2011 F1 car is powered by a Cosworth CA2011 2,400cc V8 engine with a maximum rev range of 18,000rpm. The engine weighs more than 95 kg and is fueled by a FT5 safety specification fuel cell with a 220 liters capacity.
The Marussia Virgin 2011 F1 comes with AP Racing 4 pot brake calipers with Hitco carbon fiber discs and pads, and a Virgin Racing precision aluminum construction with 7-speed transmission,
with longitudinally mounted internals. The Marussia Virgin 2011 F1 also features an electronically controlled hydraulic differential and an AP Racing clutch.
