VW has announced today that the 100,000th Volkswagen Scirocco has been built at the company's plant in Portugal. Just two years after the launch of the third generation Volkswagen Scirocco, 100,000th rolled off the production line. VW has sold the previous generation models in 795,650 units until 1992.
The 100,000th Volkswagen Scirocco is an R 2.0 TSI finished in Rising Blue Metallic, with a Titan Black interior, radio navigation system, Park Pilot and a tilting sunroof.
The company did not disclose who will be the owner of the 100,000th Volkswagen Scirocco.
