Subaru released the details of the 2008 Subaru R2 and the 2008 Subaru R1 line-up for the Japanese market. The 2008 Subaru R2 will be available in three trim levels: F, F+, Refi, R and typeS, all of the being available with two-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. The 2008 Subaru R2 will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission or an i-CVT automatic with the typeS model being sold with a SSi-CVT gearbox. The 2008 Subaru R2 price starts at 766,500 yen.
The 2008 Subaru R1 will be available in two trim levels, R and S, and will also be available with 2WD or AWD. The 2008 Subaru R1 R is equipped with a i-CVT gearbox and is price from 1,270,500 yen and the S model comes with a SSi-CVT transmission and starts at 1,428,000 yen.
