The next generation 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet has been spotted recently doing the usual test runs on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. As you have probably expected, the 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet will keep the canvas roof, however, it will spot the major design lines of the newly unveiled 6 Series coupe. The 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet however, will probably have a couple of large air intakes on the lower front bumper and probably other minor design cues that will make it more aggressive. The rear of the 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet will also have a new design, but the two double exhausts pipes, the usually spell M, are going to be there in the next gen model.
Unfortunately, up until this point, no spy photographers managed to get a glimpse of the
interior changes brought by the new 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet.
As far as the engine goes, the 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet will probably have some version of the 4.4-liter V8 that's already burning fuel in the X5M and the X6M. The power output could differ however, Some sources believe the 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet will have slightly more than the 555 hp that have been tucked away in the belly of the new performance SUVs.

We'll have more details on the new 2012 BMW M6 Cabriolet as soon as they become available.
