BMW launched today the M Performa accessories range for the new M5 and all three versions of the new M6 (the coupe, the convertible and the Gran Coupe). The BMW M5 and M6 M Performance accessories range includes a new titanium sport exhaust system developed in collaboration with Akrapovic that's 10 kg lighter than the standard one. Both, the M5 and the M6 M Performance come with a carbon fiber boot lid spoiler, a carbon rear diffuser, and "go faster" stripes. The M Performance also includes carbon side mirror casings, a modified front grille, re-styled side skirts, and carbon fiber protection for the exhaust tail pipes. The BMW M5 M Performance package also includes a set of clear tail light clusters. For the interior of the BMW M6 and M5, the M Performance range offers an Alcantara leather steering wheel, and a race display that offers gear shift information, and lateral and longitudinal acceleration values.
The M Performance kit includes various carbon fiber interior trim parts, stainless steel pedals, and bespoke floor mats.
The M Performance accessories range for the M5 and M6 models includes carbon-ceramic brakes with 410 mm discs and 6-piston calipers on the front axle and 393 mm discs with 1-piston calipers on the rear one, and 20-inch alloys. The new brakes weigh 19.4 kilograms less than the standard ones.
The BMW M5 and M6 M Performance accessories range's price list is going to be announced at a later date.
