BMW Shows Most Expensive Exterior Paint (10,000 USD)

BMW revealed recently their most expensive exterior paint. It is called Pure Metal Silver and it will set you back a cool $10,000 USD (8,000 EUR). BMW is offering Pure Metal Silver on just a few selected models. These include the new M5. Other Bimmers to feature this exterior finish include the Zagato Roadster concept and the M6 Gran Coupe Launch Edition. Frankly, we find it a bit too much to pay so much money on just the paint. As you know, BMW has a personalization division called Individual. Well, the most expensive exterior finishes offered by BMW Individual are priced at around $3,600 USD. Pure Metal Silver offers your Bimmer a kind of brushed aluminum look. In contrast, to chrome your entire vehicle will probably cost you just as much.

But the visual impact is going to be a lot more powerful.

Just imagine having to scrap the bugs off the front end of your Bimmer, that's been covered with $10,000 USD worth of paint.
