The first images and details of the facelifted 2014 BMW M5 have leaked over the web today, months before the model's official premiere. The design changes brought by the new facelifted BMW M5 (2014) are minor. The high-performance sedan comes with a new front grille and slightly modified headlights. The rear of the future 2014 M5 seems to be identical to the one of the current version of the Bimmer. For the interior of the 2014 M5, BMW has designed a new steering wheel, which seems to be slimmer. We're not really sure that this is the way to go when it comes to a high-performance machine. The 2014 BMW M5 also seems to have a new touch-sensitive iDrive controller. The new BMW M5 (2014) seems to have several re-styled interior trim parts too.

The power of the 2014 M5 facelift will continue to come from the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 560 hp and 680 Nm of torque. With this engine, the 2014 BMW M5 is going to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. BMW is expected to limit the top speed of the 2014 M5 to 155 mph (250 km/h).

We're going to have more details about the facelifted M5 as soon as BMW makes them available.
