The details of the 2012 BMW X4 have been circulating the web for quite some time now, however, recent reports also talk about a possible 2012 BMW X4 M. Apparently, the BMW X4 M will get a newly developed M twin-turbo engine with 6-cylinder in-line. Now this is machine that could do some damage. The BMW X4 M is only speculation at the moment, since not even the regular X4 has been confirmed yet.
However, expect the BMW X4 to be for the X3 what the X6 is for the X5. This means the BMW X4 will be a coupe-like version of the X3, with less room in the back, and more attractive exterior looks.
The BMW X4 M, if it will ever hit the streets, it will have a sportier, stiffer suspension,
bigger brakes and sharper steering. The aerodynamics of the BMW X4 M will also differ from the ones on the regular X4, with larger air intakes and various ground effects.
The BMW X4 M is just a nice dream at the moment, as the German company hasn’t even confirmed a regular version of the X4. However, we'll keep you posted if any new details of the BMW X4 M or standard X4 surface.
