As always, BMW marks its successes in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters - the German touring car championship), with a special edition version of the winning model. Last year it was M4's turn, thanks to DTM champion Marco Wittmann. Marco's number 23 championship winning racecar spawned 23 units of the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition, which is available in Alpine White only. To match Marco's M4, the Champion Edition Bimmer features a matt black bonnet, roof and boot lid, as well as colorful stripes, numbers and logos. As standard, the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition comes equipped with the M Performance package. This includes the front splitter, the rocker blades, the carbon front flaps, the carbon door mirror caps, the rear spoiler and the diffuser.

At the interior, the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition features countless carbon trim parts, a sport steering wheel, and various badges and logos.

The DTM Champion Edition M4 sits on a set of 20-inch alloys, and a KW Clubsport fully adjustable coil-over suspension.

TVW has just announced they decided to take the M4 DTM Champion Edition a step further. They installed a reprogrammed ECU and an Akrapovic Evolution Line titanium exhaust system with carbon pipes and a K&N free-flow air cleaner. As a result, TVW's BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition develops 517 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The factory version of the high-performance coupe puts out "just" 431 hp and 550 Nm of torque.

So far, TVW did not disclose the price of their new toy.
