BMW M4 Cabrio: Specs, Equipment

BMW revealed at the end of last week the new M4 Cabrio. The German carmaker released all its details, specifications and its complete equipment list. Just like the coupe, the BMW M4 cabrio is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line twin-turbocharged engine that develops 317 kW/431 hp and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. According to BMW's official specs, the M4 convertible is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The engine of the BMW M4 cabriolet is mated to a seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission. The M4 cabrio Bimmer is built using lightweight materials, such as aluminum and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The M4 cabrio's convertible roof is made of three solid pieces and it can open/close in just 20 seconds. It can be operated at speeds of up to 18 km/h (11 mph).

In terms of efficiency, the BMW M4 Convertible is rated with a 9.1–8.7 l/100 km (31–32.5 mpg imp) fuel consumption and a 213–203 g/km CO2 emissions level.
