Cadillac reveals the facelifted 2012 CTS, which shows a few updates for the sedan and coupe versions. The 2012 Cadillac CTS facelift shows minimal updates in terms of design. It has a new front grille, featuring a new frame and mesh. It also has a re-styled Wreath & Crest logo, featuring sharper colors and raised ridges.

Cadillac is now offering the Touring Package for the 2012 CTS facelift. This includes larger wheels and tires, and a dark finish front grille. For the interior, the Touring program for the CTS facelift offers dark Sapele wood trim parts, a suede wheel and shifter, and a new set of metal pedals.

The 2012 Cadillac CTS facelift powered by the

3.6-liter V6 engine now develops 318 hp (237 kW) and 275 lb.-ft. (372 Nm) of torque, which is 14 hp and 2 Nm of torque more than the current version. Cadillac also managed to save a bit of weight by modifying some of the engine parts of the 2012 CTS facelift. The new composite intake manifold is 5.5 pounds (2.5 kg) lighter than before, while the structural front cover and the connecting rods have also been lightened. This saves up to 20.5 pounds (9.3 kg) from the total weight of Cadillac's facelifted CTS 2012.



The standard equipment list includes for 2012 Bluetooth phone integration, while the Coupe now has side blind-zone alert.
