Toyota released today a teaser image of the 2012 Avensis, ahead of the new version's debut at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show next week. The 2012 Toyota Avensis is said to come with new styling, improved quality, handling and comfort, and new, and probably more efficient, engines. Unfortunately, the Japanese car manufacturer did not disclose any actual details regarding the facelifted 2012 Avensis, however, some of the design modifications stand out from the teaser picture they released. The 2012 Toyota Avensis will have a re-designed front grille, with new headlights, which seem to incorporate LED daytime running lights. These LED daytime running lights should not come as a surprise anymore, since the European Union passed a law which says that all new models should be equipped with such systems.
Toyota also mentions that the look and feel of the interior of the 2012 Avensis have been improved. We'll have more details on the 2012 Avensis as soon as Toyota makes them available.
Apart from the new Avensis, Toyota's Frankfurt stand will also include 2012 Prius range, including the Plug-in and Prius+ versions, the 2012 Hilux, and the three-door version of the Yaris.
