Audi's official performance figures for the 2013 S3 say it can get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.1 seconds and that it can reach a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Audi is going to sell the 2013 S3 with a choice between a six-speed manual transmission and an S tronic gearbox.

The new Audi S3 (2013) is rated with a fuel consumption of 6.9 liters of fuel per 100 km (manual: 7.0 liters) [34.09 and 33.60 US mpg]. Its CO2 emissions are rated at 159 (162) grams per kilometer (255.89 and 260.17 g/mile).
