Audi revealed today the A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept, which is based on the four-door S3 sedan version of the model. This is a bit curious. Why didn't they name it the S3 Clubsport Quattro Concept? Anyway, the world debut of the Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept is going to take place at the Worthersee Tour 2014 (May 28–31). The Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro is powered by the 2.5 TFSI 5-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, that develops 386 kW (525 hp) and 600 Nm (442.5 lb‑ft) of torque between 2,300 rpm and 6,000 rpm. Thanks to a weight of 1,527 kg (3,366.5 lb), Audi's A3 Clubsport Quattro is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.6 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 310 km/h (192.6 mph). To get the extra power out of the 2,480 cc engine, Audi gave it a larger turbo with 1.5 bar of relative boost pressure.

The engine of the Audi A3 Clubsport is mated to the 7‑speed S tronic transmission and the quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. The A3 Clubsport is also fitted with a hydraulically activated, multi‑plate clutch on the rear axle.

In comparison to the regular Audi A3 Sedan, the A3 Clubsport comes with a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) hood, modified intake and exhaust systems, a launch control function, and a 10-millimeter (0.4 in) lowered ride height.

The Audi A3 Clubsport fitted with 21-inch alloys, carbon-ceramic brakes, and an ESC system that can be completely deactivated.

The Audi A3 Clubsport is also fitted with new aerodynamics, which include a more aggressive looking front bumper with large air intakes and various carbon fiber parts, new side skirts, a modified rear apron with an integrated diffuser and a boot lid spoiler.

For the interior of the A3 Clubsport, Audi chose racing seats, various carbon trim accents, and various other gizmos.

So far, Audi did not mention whether or not the A3 Clubsport will go into production. Here are the full details and specs of the Audi A3 Clubsport.
