Audi revealed this week the sedan versions of the A3 and the S3, which will go on sale towards the end of this summer. Both, the Audi A3 sedan and the Audi S3 sedan measure 4.46 meters (14.63 ft) in length, 1.80 meters (5.91 ft) in width, 1.42 meters (4.66 ft) in height and they have a 2.64 meter (8.66 ft) long wheelbase. Equipped with the 1.4 TFSI engine, the A3 sedan weighs 1,250 kg (2,755.78 lb). The A3 and the S3 sedan have 425 liters (15.01 cubic feet) of boot space. The sedan versions of the A3 and of the S3 come with a discreet boot lid spoiler and full-LED headlights. Audi says that the new A3/S3 sedan has a 60/40 front/rear weight distribution, a MacPherson front suspension, with A-arms and aluminum pivot bearings, and a four-link rear suspension.
The S3 sedan has a 25 mm (0.98 in) lower ride height than the A3. The Audi A3 sedan is available with various wheel sizes (16-inch to 19-inch), internally ventilated front brake discs, and an ESC system with an electronic differential lock.

- 1.8 TFSI - 132 kW (180 hp), 250 Nm (184.39 lb-ft), 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 7.3 seconds, 235 km/h (146.02 mph) top speed, 5.6 liters per 100 km (42.00 US mpg, 49.6 UK mpg), 129 g/km (207.61 g/mile) CO2.
Audi is going to sell the sedan A3 with either a 6-speed transmission, or the S tronic dual-clutch gearbox.
At the interior, the A3 and the S3 sedan come with a driver information system (DIS) that shows 3D graphics, the MMI operating system, an electromechanical parking brake, a three or four spokes steering wheel, or an optional flat bottom steering wheel. Optionally, you can equip your Audi A3 / S3 sedan with front sport seats.

The Audi A3 sedan's price has not been announced yet, but The German carmaker says that the 1.4 TFSI version is going to cost around 25,000 Euros.
The Audi S3 sedan is powered by the 2.0 TFSI engine, which is good for 221 kW (300 hp) and 380 Nm (280.27 lb ft) of torque. When equipped with the S tronic transmission, the S3 sedan accelerates from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The manual version of the S3 sedan has the same top speed, but it requires 5.3 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h). Audi rates the sedan S3 with a combined fuel consumption of 6.9 liters per 100 km (34.09 US mpg, 40.4 UK mpg) for the manual version and 7.0 liters (33.60 US mpg, 40.9 UK mpg) for the S tronic. The S3 sedan emits 159 or 162 grams per km (255.89 or 260.71 g/mile) depending on the gearbox. The equipment list of the Audi S3 sedan includes 18-inch alloys, 340 mm (13.39 in) front brake discs, electrically assisted progressive steering, the drive select vehicle dynamics system, and an optional magnetic ride damper control system.
The S3 sedan has a few design details that set it apart from the A3. These include new bumpers, a singleframe grille, air intakes, exterior mirror housings, side sills and a rear spoiler. There are also four oval tailpipes integrated into the rear diffuser.
