The Blue Oval also unveiled the new 2013 Ford Taurus SHO, which now has a more aggressive design and a Performance Package. The 2013 Ford Taurus SHO is powered by the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine developing 365 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. It's equipped with a six-speed high-capacity 6F55 SelectShift Automatic gearbox.

The main updates brought by the new 2013 Taurus SHO are in the handling department. Ford says it has improved the SHO's driving dynamics by giving it larger brakes, a torque vectoring control system and specially calibrated electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system.

Ford announce that it will offer a Performance Package for the 2013 Taurus SHO, which will

include various parts, but unfortunately, no power upgrade. Equipped with Ford's new Performance Package, the 2013 Taurus SHO will feature a sport-tuned suspension with unique dampers and springs, new brake pads and black calipers, 3.16 to 1 final drive ratio and an enhanced cooling system. The 2013 Ford Taurus SHO also comes with a new Electronic Stability Control with track mode. This means you can completely turn it off.

Ford will announced the price for the 2013 Taurus SHO at a later date.
