Ford announced today the price of the new generation 2013 Lincoln MKZ, which is going to sale this fall. The MKZ's direct competitor is the Lexus ES 350, which, according to Lincoln, is more expensive and less equipped than the new MKZ (2013). The 2013 Lincoln MKZ is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine (240 hp), which promises 22 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway (front-wheel drive). The equipment list of the new 2013 MKZ includes a Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) adjustable suspension, electric power-assisted steering (EPAS), an Active Noise Control system, traction control and stability control systems. According to Lincoln, the 2013 MKZ comes with a few features that are exclusive in its class.

These include push-button shift, LED headlights, a 10.1-inch LCD instrument cluster, an 8-inch touch screen, and remote start, which is very useful in the winter.

The 2013 Lincoln MKZ's price list starts at $35,925, excluding the $875 delivery and destination charge. In comparison, the 2013 Lexus ES 300h is almost $3,000 more expensive than the 2013 MKX Hybrid.
