Ford premiered the new Lincoln MKZ concept at this year's Detroit auto show, offering a preview of things to come. Lincoln's new MKZ concept is the first representation of the brand's future models in terms of design and technology. Currently, the vehicle is just a design concept, so it has not engine. However, it's packed with technology. At the interior, the Detroit MKZ concept features a newly designed instrument panel, which is basically a 10.1-inch TFT LED screen. The MKZ is also equipped with a secondary 8-inch LCD touch-screen. Both of them come with MyLincoln Touch technology. The wood, aluminum and leather interior of the Lincoln MKZ Concept creates a warm and luxurious environment.

Instead of the traditional gear lever, the MKZ Concept uses a push-button transmission, which reduces the weight of the car, and improves the look of the center console.

The exterior of the Lincoln MKZ Concept is dominated by a huge panoramic glass roof. Its LED headlights and split-wing front grille give it a futuristic look. The rear of the MKZ is equally interesting and frankly, it goes extremely well with the rest of the vehicle.

The Lincoln MKZ Concept is equipped with EcoBoost, the carmaker's Drive Control and the Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) adjustable suspension. For safety, Lincoln equipped the new MKZ with a Lane Keeping System.
