Ford revealed today at the 2016 NY Auto Show the new Lincoln Navigator Concept. One of the most distinctive features of the Lincoln Navigator Concept include its massive Gullwing doors, which allow access to both the front and the rear seats. the new Lincoln Navigator Concept is meant to inspire luxury and elegance. The inspiration for the design of the large SUV comes from luxury sailboats and yachts. Lincoln's new Navigator concept is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that puts out 400 hp. The new Navigator concept offers several settings and driving modes, which control the steering, suspension and noise levels.
Lincoln says that the new Navigator offers the most spacious interior ever.
The SUV features six so-called Perfect Position Seats that offer 30 ways of adjustment. The driver's seat offers independent deployable thigh supports. At the rear, the Navigator features a wardrobe management system. The SUV comes equipped with a Revel audio system.
Other features of the new Lincoln Navigator Concept include deployable concertina steps, a special lighting sequence that is engaged when entering the SUV, Wi-Fi connectivity, head restraint monitors, a large panel screen for the driver, and a digital touch screen.
In terms of safety, the new Lincoln Navigator comes with Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, a 360-degree camera, and a lane-keeping system.
Lincoln did not disclose when the production version of the new Navigator concept is going to be revealed.
