This breath-taking interpretation of the 2007 Lincoln Navigator made its public debut on December 1, 2006 in the Galpin Motor's booth in Kentia Hall at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Lincoln Navigator LUX by G.A.S. takes an expressive and ultra-luxurious approach to the all-new 2007 model, while preserving all of the craftsmanship and elegant amenities that are so unmistakably Lincoln.
"We wanted to recreate the ambiance and textures of the great Lincolns of the past, which were
loaded with luxurious embellishments, special amenities and sumptuous materials," said Beau Boeckmann, president of Galpin Auto Sports and consulting producer for MTV's hit show "Pimp My Ride." "This Navigator is designed to dazzle the senses and exude an atmosphere of pure luxury, much like a private jet or yacht."
G.A.S. started with an all-new 2007 Lincoln Navigator 4x4, equipped with a powerful 5.4-liter V8 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. The reinvention began with attention-grabbing Lexani LX131 27-inch wheels cushioned in Nitto custom 305/45/22 tires. Stunning Oxblood custom paint
lends an earthy, non-metallic, stylish finish that accentuates the Navigator's one-of-a-kind Custom Strut grille.
Inside, the amenities continue with a plush Edelman Luxe Calf Cherry interior that wraps the seats, headliner, door armrests, sun visors and center console armrests. The rear center console features auto-rising champagne and flutes. Extensive attention to detail was paid by G.A.S. when selecting and installing the most exquisite Rau custom maple burl wood trim throughout including the entire
rear cargo area, custom shearling floor mats and custom fiberglass enclosures to refine the feeling of elegance. Going one step further towards ultimate luxury, G.A.S. included a one-of-a-kind 5.5 carat Lex Diamond clock with a retail price of $10,000, specially commissioned for the Navigator LUX. It should be noted that Lex Diamond is the fine jewelry industry's hottest new jeweler to the stars, including music artists, athletes and other A-list celebrities.
