The 2016 Lincoln MKX had its world debut today in Detroit at the 2015 NAIAS. Lincoln revealed today the complete engine specs of the new MKX (2016), as well as its full equipment list. The new Lincoln MKX (2016) comes with an updated exterior and interior design, and new technology. Lincoln is going to sell the 2016 MKX with a choice between two engines. The entry level of the 2016 MKX is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that develops 300 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. There's also a 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine available, which puts out 330 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Both versions of the 2016 Lincoln MKX come with a 6-speed automatic transmission and an optional all-wheel-drive system. The 2016 Lincoln MKX's equipment list includes 22-way adjustable front seats, a Revel sound system, 19 speakers, and a 360-degree camera system.

The safety systems offered with the 2016 Lincoln MKX include parallel / perpendicular parking assist, pre-collision assist system, Auto Hold, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, a blind spot information system, and cross-traffic alert.
