The new Lincoln MKC concept had its world premiere this week during the opening of the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Lincoln MKC concept previews a small luxury crossover, which will soon finds its way on the market. Lincoln says that the new MKC is going to offer a variety of innovations, such as push-button transmission engagement, programmable ride control, personalized lighting, and a suite of other customizable functions. The MKC is going to offer several powertrain choices, and it might even come as a hybrid. Apparently, the MKC borrows several features from the MKZ, but Lincoln did not specify which ones are they. One of the MKC's distinctive design features includes its full-width tail lamps. The Lincoln MKC comes with the trademark split-wing grille, 20-inch polished alloys, a cream-based white metallic tri-coat paint and a huge panoramic glass roof.

At the interior, Lincoln's MKC offers high-end materials such as premium leather, which covers the door trim uppers, armrests, bolsters, console side rails, instrument panel and the cargo area.

The Lincoln MKC measures 179.3 in./4,550 mm in length, 76.1 in./1,932.6 mm in width, 63.2 in./1,607.1 mm in height and it has a 106.9 in./2,717.2 mm wheelbase. We'll have more information regarding the new MKC as soon as Lincoln makes it available. A brochure of the MKC is available here.
