Hyundai revealed today the new generation 2014 Genesis, which will probably go on sale sometime next year. The 2014 Hyundai Genesis measures 4,990mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,480mm in height. It has a 3,010mm long wheelbase. The 2014 Genesis comes with several technical innovations, such as a CO2 cabin sensor, an Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system, a Blind Spot Detection, a Head-Up Display, a Lane Departure Warning System, and a radar-controlled Advanced Smart Cruise Control. For the 2014 Genesis, Hyundai is offering the HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive system and a multi-link rear suspension. Hyundai's 2014 Genesis offer a higher torsional body rigidity, the i-Driving Mode Integrated Control, four intelligent driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow), and a 9.2-inch high-definition (HD) touch AVN (audio, ventilation and navigation) system.

The new Hyundai Genesis (2014) is going to be sold with a choice between four engines: a 3.0-liter V6, a 3.3-liter V6, a 3.8-liter GDI V6 and a 5.0-litre GDI with direct injection and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT). All of them are mated o an 8-speed automatic transmission.

2014 Hyundai Genesis Engines:

- 3.0 V6 - 257 PS at 6,000 rpm, 31.0 kg.m (224.2 lb.ft) at 5,000 rpm, 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 8.6 sec, top speed 230 km/h;
- 3.3 V6 - 282 PS at 6,000 rpm, 35.4 kg.m (256.1 lb.ft) at 5,000 rpm, 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 7.2 sec, top speed 240 km/h;
- 3.8 V6 - 315 PS at 6,000 rpm, 40.5 kg.m (293.0 lb.ft) at 5,000 rpm, 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.5 sec, top speed 240 km/h;
- 5.0 V8 - 425 PS at 6000 rpm, 53 kg.m (383 lb.ft) at 5000 rpm, 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.4 sec, 240 km/h.



Some of the novelties brought by the 2-14 Genesis include a haptic steering warning system, a Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), an around-view monitor, a driver knee airbag and an Advanced Smart Parking Assist System (ASPAS).
