The tuners from IMSA revealed recently a new powerkit for the latest generation, 2014, Mercedes S63 AMG. IMSA's power kit for the new Mercedes S63 AMG (2014) includes, among others, a re-mapped ECU. IMSA retuned the S63 AMG's fuelling, ignition, boost pressure and valve timing curves. As a result the IMSA Mercedes S63 develops 720 hp and 1080 Nm of torque. This is 135 hp and 180 Nm of torque more than the standard 5.5-liter v8 biturbo engine is able to produce. Apart from the performance package, IMSA's S63 AMG comes with a few styling modifications too. These include a new front bumper with wider air vents, modified side skirts, a rear diffuser and a boot lid spoiler. All of IMSA's body parts for the 2014 S63 are made of carbon fiber.
The car sits on 21-inch alloys and it is equipped with bespoke aircraft-grade aluminum tailpipes with a semi-matt finish. IMSA did not disclose the price of their new powerkit for the 2014 Mercedes S63 AMG.
