The aftermarket specialists from IMSA revealed recently a new powerkit for the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe. This new power package increases the output of the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine from 585 hp and 900 Nm of torque to 720 hp and 1,080 Nm of torque. IMSA's power kit for the S63 AMG includes a reprogrammed ECU, sport air filters, optimized turbochargers, a modified intercooler, and a bespoke exhaust system. IMSA did not disclose the performance figures of their modified Mercedes S63 coupe. The standard S63 AMG is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Apart from the powerkit, IMSA equips their S63 coupe with a set of 21-inch forged lightweight alloy wheels and high-performance tires.
IMSA did not disclose the price of their new power package for the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe.
