Range Rover revealed today the updated version of the Evoque (2014), which comes with several novelties. The 2014 Range Rover Evoque comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission and improved efficiency. Its fuel consumption drops by as much as 11.4 percent, which its CO2 emissions are reduced by 9.5 percent. The new Range Rover Evoque (2014) comes with several new technologies, such as Park Exit (to automatically exit parallel parking bays), Perpendicular Park (to position the car centrally in parking bays), Closing Vehicle Sensing and Reverse Traffic Detection (to warn drivers of oncoming traffic), Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and Wade Sensing. Optionally, you can order your 2014 Evoque with the InControl connected car system.

The InControl Remote system allows the driver to issue an SOS Emergency Call, while the InControl Secure system triggers an alarm in case of theft.

Range Rover is going to sell the 2014 Evoque with the optional Active Driveline, which is an on demand four-wheel drive system. It includes Active Torque Biasing with electronic-Diff (e-Diff) technology. The new version of the SUV is also fitted with a Torque Vectoring by Braking feature.

Range Rover is going to sell the new Evoque (2014) with a choice between a 2.2 diesel engine (150PS), a 2.2 diesel 190PS engine and a 2.0-liter petrol with 240PS. The 2014 Range Rover Evoque's price list and availability are going to be announced at a later date.
