Subaru revealed today the updated 2014 Outback facelift, which comes with minor styling modifications and a new diesel powertrain. In terms of design, the 2014 Subaru Outback Facelift comes with body-colored cladding, larger fog lamps, gloss black finish around the headlights, and a new set of alloys. For the interior of the 2014 Outback, Subaru is offering an LCD instrument panel, black metallic trim parts, and modified controls and buttons. The 2014 Subaru Outback is going to be available with a new 2.0-litre Boxer diesel engine that’s mated to a Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). The new 2014 Outback 2.0D promises to offer a 44.8mpg fuel economy in the combined cycle and a 166/km CO2 emissions level. For the new Outback (2014), Subaru is offering the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.
The manual transmission version of the 2014 Outback is going to be available with Active Torque Split. The Lineartronic models come with a center differential with viscous limited slip differential.
The facelifted Subaru Outback (2014) 526 liters of luggage space, a double-wishbone rear suspension with a self-leveling function, and 200mm of ground clearance.
