Subaru revealed today at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show the 2015 WRX. Notice that the model lost the "Impreza" name. We'll get straight to business. The new 2015 Subaru WRX is powered by a 2.0-litre Horizontally-Opposed Direct Injection Boxer turbocharged engine that develops 199 kW (268 hp) at 5,600 rpm and 258 lb.-ft. (349 Nm) of torque from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm. The engine of the 2015 WRX is mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or Sport Lineartronic CVT transmission with an 8-speed shifting mode. The power of the new WRX (2015) goes to all four wheels via a Symmetrical AWD system. Unfortunately, Subaru did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of the 2015 WRX, not its top speed. Subaru's new WRX (2015) measures 4,595 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,475 mm in height. It has a 2650 mm wheelbase.

The new WRX (2015) comes with an optimized suspension geometry, the Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system, Active Torque Vectoring and electric power steering. The 2015 WRX sits on a set of 17-inch alloys and it's equipped with LED headlights and rear lights.

The exterior design of the 2015 Subaru WRX is dominated by its huge hood scoop, the rear diffuser and boot lid lip and the four-tailpipe exhaust system.

For the interior of the 2015 WRX, Subaru is offering carbon and metal trim accents, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, sport seats, a new 3.5-inch LCD color display. The driver of the 2015 WRX benefits from a dual dial layout of the gauges that have aluminum rings, red-based lighting, a boost pressure display screen, and a Harman/Kardon sound system.

As far as safety systems go, the new Subaru WRX (2015) is equipped with high tensile steel plating with strengthened joints, a collision-absorbing bonnet.

The 2015 Subaru WRX's price and availability are going to be announced at a later date.
