The US specifications of the new generation 2016 Ford Focus RS have been announced today. The world debut of the United States version of the new 2016 Focus RS is going to have its world debut on April 1st at the 2015 New York Auto Show. The price of the new Ford Focus RS (2016) for the United States market has not been announced yet, however, the Bu Oval says it will go on sale here next spring. The U.S. version of the 2016 Focus RS is powered by a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that develops 310 hp. The American 2016 Focus RS comes with all-wheel-drive and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The hot hatchback comes equipped with Dynamic Torque Vectoring, Brembo brakes, 19-inch alloys, Pilot Super Sport or Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and a low-inertia twin-scroll turbocharger.
Just as the European version, the US 2016 Ford Focus RS is equipped with partial-leather Recaro sport seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel, and an aggressive aerodynamic package. Here are the full US specifications of the 2016 Ford Focus RS.
