Daimler revealed recently the new 2016 Mercedes C Class Coupe, which is set to go on sale in December. Unfortunately, Mercedes did not disclose its price list yet. The 2016 Mercedes C Class Coupe comes with a new interior and exterior design, updated engines, and new technology. Mercedes reduced the weight of the new C Class coupe (2016) with the help of lightweight construction techniques. The 2016 Mercedes C Class coupe come with a dynamically configured chassis, an optional air suspension, and new assistance systems for improved safety. The 2016 version of the C Class coupe is 60 mm longer than its predecessor and it sits 15 mm lower than its sedan version. This means it offers more room for its passengers and their luggage. Its aerodynamics have also been improved.
At launch, the new 2016 Mercedes C Class coupe is going to be sold with the following engines:
- C180: 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with 115 kW/156 hp
- C200: 2.0-liter engine with (135 kW/184 hp)
- C250: with 155 kW/211 hp
- C300: with 180 kW/245 hp
- two diesel versions with 125 kW (170 hp) or 150 kW (204 hp) and SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction).
The equipment list of the 2016 Mercedes C Class Coupe includes (among others):
- DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist and Stop&Go Pilot
- BAS PLUS Brake Assist System
- Enhanced Active Lane Keeping Assist
- PRE-SAFE PLUS.
