The British journalists from Autocar released a new video review of the Mercedes C Class Coupe, namely the diesel C250 CDI. This is a more economy oriented version of the C Class Coupe, being powered by a 2,143 cc 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine developing 201 bhp at 4200 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 1600 rpm. With a weight of 1580 kg, the Mercedes C250 CDI Coupe will not win any top speed records, but it will take you to your destination reasonably fast, and with a low fuel consumption. Mercedes officially rates this version of the C Class Coupe with a 52.3 mpg fuel economy on the combined cycle and with a 143 g/km CO2 emissions levels. The Mercedes C Class Coupe C250 CDI Coupe comes equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system.

Mercedes says that the C250 CDI Coupe is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 7 seconds and that it can reach a tops peed of 149 mph. The price of the C Class coupe as tested by Autocar is just over 31,000 GBP in Britain.
