The new Mercedes C450 AMG Sport had its world debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Mercedes C450 AMG Sport is slotted just under the high-performance C63 AMG. It is powered by a 3.0-liter Twin-turbocharged V6 engine that develops 362 bhp (270 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 382 lb-ft (517 Nm) of torque between 2,000 rpm and 4,200 rpm. The Mercedes C450 is equipped with the 4MATIC AWD system and the 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this powertrain, the C450 AMG is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). The Mercedes C450 AMG Sport is going to be sold as a four-door sedan and as a station wagon.

The equipment list of the Mercedes C450 includes the same suspension system as the one of the C63, 18-inch alloys, bigger brakes with 360-mm front and 320-mm rear brake discs, and various styling upgrades.

At the interior, the C450 comes with s sport steering wheel, sport seats, aluminum pedals and a leather upholstery. Mercedes is going to announce the C450's price at a later date.
