Mercedes revealed today the new generation 2014 C Class sedan, which is already available for ordering. The 2014 Mercedes C Class' price list for Europe starts at 33,558 EUR for the C180 and at 36,414 EUR for the C200. The popular 2014 Mercedes C220 BlueTEC is priced from 38,675 EUR. The new version of the high-performance Mercedes C63 AMG is going to be revealed at a later date. The new Mercedes C Class (2014) comes with a redesigned exterior and interior, new technology and revised engine, which promise to be more efficient and environmentally friendly. The 2014 C Class is around 100 kg lighter than its predecessor, which means it's more fuel efficient and nimble. The new C Class (2014) has an 80-mm longer wheelbase (2,840 millimeters), is 95 millimeters longer (4686 millimeters), and 40 millimeters wider (1810 millimeters). The 2014 C Class offers a 480-litre boot.

Mercedes is going to sell the 2014 equipped with H7 halogen headlights as standard, and two versions of the LED DRLs: a static system and a dynamic version with "LED Intelligent Light System". The rear lights are also made of LEDs.

At the interior, the 2014 Mercedes C Class comes with a choice between two free-standing central displays, one measuring 17.78 centimeters (7 inches), and one 21.33 centimeters (8.4 inches). Mercedes is using various materials for the interior of the 2014 C Class such as metallic cool-touch effect ones, wood, and leather.



Mercedes equips the 2014 C Class with a touchpad in the handrest over the Controller on the center tunnel, a head-up display, and smartphone integration. Mercedes is offering three packages for personalizing the interior of the 2014 C Class: AVANTGARDE for a sporty sedan, EXCLUSIVE for sophistication and modern luxury and AMG for a sporty character.

After the launch, Mercedes is going to offer various other powertrains for the 2014 C Class, including five petrol engines developing 115 to 175 kW (156 to 238 hp), and the C300 BlueTEC HYBRID with 150 + 20 kW (204 + 27 hp). The Mercedes C180 ECO Edition qualifies for efficiency class A. The 2014 C Class will also be available with a 245 kW (333 hp) 6-cylinder petrol engine too.

The new C Class (2014) will be sold with either a 6-speed manual transmission, or the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic gearbox. You’ll have a choice between a rear-wheel-drive system and a 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system.
