With the pricing information getting out yesterday and with Autocar releasing now their Alfa Romeo 8C Spider review video it's safe to say the car is ready to get out in the open. The Alfa Romeo 8C Spider is powered by the same 450 hp 4.7 liter engine as the coupe and with the added weight, it gets from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. Although the numbers are respectable, we doubt anyone would buy the 8C Spider for it's performance. Three hundred thousand dollars is a lot to pay for a car that only does 4.6 seconds to 62 mph. You could get an Evo for one tenth of that. It's all about the looks with the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider and in our opinion, they should have made only the Spider.
