The aftermarket specialists from Novitec revealed today a new upgrade program for the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, which offers an increased power output and updated looks. Novitec's Alfa Romeo 8C Spider is powered by the factory 4.7-liter V8 engine, that's fitted with a supercharger system. The supercharged is driven by a cogged-tooth belt directly from the crankshaft and has a maximum boost pressure of 0.37 bar. Novitec also fitted the Alfa 8C Spider with a water-to-air intercooler for the supercharger, dedicated radiator and custom injectors.
Novitec sells the compressor conversion for the Alfa 8C Spider at 19,900. For this money, you'll get 600 hp / 441 kW at 7,300 rpm and 588 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm.
The Novitec Alfa Romeo 8C Spider is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and to keep doing this until it reaches a top speed of 305 km/h.
Novitec's program for the Alfa 8C Spider also includes stainless-steel sport exhaust system with four tailpipes, 21 inch wheels for the front axle and 22 inch for the rear one, Pirelli tires, and a height-adjustable threaded coil-over suspension.
