The production version of the much awaited Alfa Romeo 4C Spider had its world debut today at the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit. The Italian carmaker released its complete engine specs and its full equipment list. The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider continues to be powered by the 1.75-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which, according to the official specifications, develops 237 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Thanks to a low weight, this engine manages to accelerate the Spider version of the Alfa 4C from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds. The 4C Spider tops at 160 mph (258 km/h). Thanks to a special twin-clutch transmission, the Alfa 4C Spider is able to shift in just 130 milliseconds. The Alfa 4C Spider comes with an automatic canvas roof that adds just 22 lbs. (10 kg) to the total weight of the car, in comparison to its coupe version.

The equipment list of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider includes 17- or 19-inch alloys, leather composite seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum pedals, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an Alpine multimedia system and various carbon fiber trim parts.

Here are the full specifications of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider. Its price list has not been announced yet. The Italian carmaker says it's going to start delivering it in time for the summer.
