Today we have Alfa Romeo 4C GTA update as new details and specs of the upcoming vehicle have spilled over the web. The Alfa Romeo 4C GTA is thought to be based on the KTM X-Bow, with power coming from either a 1.750 TBi engine with 265 hp or a 4-cylinder engine developing 250 hp. More and more sources are reporting that the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will have a 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with a direct injection system that indeed, with have an output of around 250 hp.

The Alfa Romeo 4C GTA is expected to weigh just over 800 kg which means it will have a power-to weight ratio of around 3.2 kg / hp, or 310 hp / ton. This in turn means the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will offer a healthy does of performance and will be quite fun to drive.

The Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will be built on a carbon fiber and aluminum chassis, with carbon body panels, to save weight.

As previously mentioned, the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will have a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive architecture, and will probably get a manual transmission.

The Alfa Romeo 4C GTA price is thought to be around the 42,000 EUR mark, however, early indications

say the concept will not make it into production.

The world premiere of the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will take place at the Geneva motor show in March, this year.
