Alfa Romeo announced today that it will present at this year's IAA auto show in Frankfurt a slightly updated version of the 4C Concept, which had its wold debut last spring in Geneva. The design changes brought by the new Alfa 4C Concept are very discreet, and include new side mirrors, which not feature the Italian flag, a new livery, which reassembles fluid metal. The Alfa Romeo 4C concept measures around 4 m in length and has a wheelbase shorter than 2.4 m. It has a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive architecture and a two-seat coupe body style.

The new Alfa 4C Concept continues to be powered by the 1750 turbo petrol engine coupled with the manufacturer's TCT twin dry clutch transmission. This engine develops 200 hp and is able to take

the 850 kg Alfa 4C from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5 seconds. The company says that the alfa Romeo 4C is limited to a top speed of 250 km/h.

The Alfa 4C Concept is not currently set for production, but the Italian car manufacturer may offer a commercial version at some point.
